Samsung Expands the Galaxy Book6 Lineup With a More Affordable 14-inch Laptop
Starting at $799.99, the new Galaxy Book6 pairs Intel's latest Core Series 3 chips with a 25-hour battery and Samsung's Galaxy AI features, aiming to make the Galaxy Book line accessible to more buyers.

The new model joins the Galaxy Book6 family Samsung introduced earlier in the year, slotting in below the higher-end configurations on price while keeping most of the everyday experience intact.
What's inside

The new Galaxy Book6 is built around Intel's Core Series 3 and Core 5 processors, paired with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB or 512GB of PCIe storage. Its 14-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) LCD display runs at 350 nits with an anti-reflective coating and a 16:10 aspect ratio, and Samsung is quoting up to 25 hours of battery life from the 61.2Wh battery, with 45W USB-C charging that reaches about 33% in 30 minutes.
Galaxy AI features carry over
Despite the lower price, Samsung is keeping its Galaxy AI software features on board, including AI Select for pulling content out of what's on screen and Multi Control for working across a Galaxy phone and the laptop with a single mouse and keyboard. Those features, along with Samsung's broader Galaxy ecosystem integrations, have increasingly been the differentiator Samsung leans on to separate the Galaxy Book line from similarly priced Windows laptops running the same Intel silicon.
Price and availability

The new Galaxy Book6 starts at $799.99, available in Violet Silver and Gray, and goes on sale on Samsung.com and Amazon starting October 5, 2026. "With the new Galaxy Book6, we wanted to make the Galaxy Book experience available to more people," said Mincheol Lee, EVP and head of Samsung's Galaxy Ecosystems Business Team, in the announcement. "At a more accessible price, it brings together everyday essentials including dependable performance, long-lasting battery life, connected Galaxy experiences, and Galaxy Book6's design DNA."
For Samsung, the move reads as a straightforward attempt to widen the Galaxy Book funnel: rather than competing purely on premium specs, the company is betting that the ecosystem features already familiar to Galaxy phone owners are enough to pull budget-laptop shoppers toward a Samsung machine instead of a generically similar Windows PC from another OEM.
